It shouldn’t have taken this long. Wonder Woman, the first full-fledged female superhero, created in 1942 by Charles Moulton Marston (also the creator of the polygraph test, in case you didn’t know) and H.G. Peter and maybe one of the most recognized comic book icons in history should have gotten a live action, full-length, wide released film adaptation DECADES ago. But perhaps the world was not ready. Perhaps female-led superhero movie flops like Catwoman and Elektra held things back. But let’s be honest here. The fact that Barb Wire got a movie before Wonder Woman is just too embarrassing. Impossible ManHello Bleeder Nation! And welcome to the first FPB during the dreaded “Crisis of Infinite Polar Vortexes”! I don’t know who invented this name for what we all have been calling “TOO #&*%@’in COLD!”, but some weather scientist has been reading too many comics (if that's possible), because I’m pretty sure Polar Vortex was gonna be the next big crossover event! Real life beat ya to it, Mr. Freeze! Anyway, whether it was insanely cold or not, the next couple of months are when most people book they’re vacations and try to get in some beach time (and do their best to make all of their social media friends jealous and spiteful).
