Well, it’s Valentine’s Day (or Valentine’s week or month for some...why have bounderies?), the time when lovers love and secret admirers let their feelings be known! And single people? Well, I guess they all deal with this day differently! The most important thing, whether you believe in celebrating V-Day or not, is that you appreciate your special someone all year around! And for those of us bleeding hearts that bleed comics as well, we get our #relationshipgoals from our heroes and their perfect/not-so perfect relationships! So, I figured what better way to toot St. Valentine’s horn by firing up the ‘ol Listmaster 5000 machine and do one of my old fashioned lists! This time it’s comics’ Top 10 Power Couples! Some are superheroes with non-superheroes, and some of them are both supers...but all of these sweethearts showed us that their true powers are their love for each other (awwww)! Read more...

Over 20 years ago, DC Comics and Marvel Comics did the unthinkable. The two companies teamed up to settle the ultimate debate, with the help of their fans. Who would win in a smackdown of epic proportions between their greatest heroes? Think of it as Wrestlemania, but involving your favorite superheroes! Read more...

Welcome to my 6th consecutive Bleedie Awards! My yearly column where I give totally fabricated awards to the best (in my opinion) in comics and comic themed TV, video games and movies! This year in many ways was an interesting one, with DC revamping their line of books yet again with Rebirth and Marvel once again going to Civil War! Also, the Star Wars comics once again rocked and ruled from a galaxy far away! Read more...

I covered DC Comic's LEGENDS #1 last week. This week, I will be covering issue #2 of the series !! Legends #2 starts off with Gwyneth Tate, a newswoman who is reporting on the incineration of Macro Man .by Captain Marvel. G. Gordon Godfrey "happens" to be on the scene for an interview. Godfrey bemoans the "Rise of the Super Hero" who he claims will bring about society's downfall. "Today's high powered world is too sophisticated, too complicated, simply too dangerous for such a outdated notion as the Heroic Ideal!" Read more...

Great Hera! It is Wonder Woman's 75th Anniversary! The Amazing Amazon first appeared in All-Star Comics #8, the December 1941 issue. The character was created by William Moulton Marston, as well as both Marston's wife Elizabeth Holloway Marston and artist H.G. Peter. Both of the latter were not credited. The Marstons co-inhabitant Olive Byrne is credited as being the pattern for Wonder Woman's physical appearance. Marston patterned the character after the feminists of the day. One such example is that of Feminist Margaret Sanger. With the exception of a brief time in 1986, Wonder Woman's adventures have been continuing unabated for the entirety of the past 75 years!
