It was only a matter of time before I got to this one, right? One of the coolest aspects of comicdom has always been the fact that many of our heroes need spiffy, space-age vehicles to get around in, right? I mean, how else is the Fantastic Four going to get to Latvaria to battle Dr. Doom or the X-Men going to get to wherever the Brotherhood is causing trouble? They need transportation! Over the years there’s been a great amount of vehicles that have come along...and then...not so much. This here’s a list of the coolest of the cool, so don’t expect the Spider-Buggy or the Jokermobile or anything weird like that. Also, the Guardians’ Milano was JUST introduced in the comics, so that didn’t make the cut either! And as always, your favorite may not make the list! My apologies, but you know how hard it is to please EVERYONE! Feel free to air your opinion in the comments section! Read more...

The world is less fun today. Adam West, TV's Batman has died. He passed Friday, June 9th, 2017. I have written a full bio for Adam West before, so I will give only the more salient facts here. Injustice: Gods Among Us was only just the beginning. NetherRealm, the same video game studio that develops the Mortal Kombat series has yet another blockbuster Fighter franchise on their hands. Injustice delves into an alternate DC Universe where Earth’s greatest hero, Superman, becomes the type of tyrannical villain he was once sworn to oppose after he executes The Joker. The snowball effect of that event creates a world where our heroes and villains are drastically changed and the status quo of the DC Universe is flipped upside down. The first game’s story mode had the heroes of a more familiar Earth come to help Batman’s rebels battle Superman’s regime, but this new installment shows us the aftermath of that story. A new threat emerges as Brainiac (who is responsible for the destruction of Krypton in this reality) attacks Earth’s cities and enlists the world’s vilest menaces to aide him. Read more...

I’ve been wanting to do this column for weeks now, and in that amount of time some interesting developments have happened to the solo Batman movie in development starring Ben Affleck. Affleck first dropped out of being the director of the film allegedly because he didn’t think he could handle starring AND directing...which sounds pretty simple. Then Planet of the Apes director Matt Reeves was apparently being courted for the job, then some rumors of Affleck being (ALREADY?) tired of being The Bat sprouted around the internet....and now apparently the Reeves thing has fallen apart. The movie could very well be in limbo at this point. Read more...

Well, it’s Valentine’s Day (or Valentine’s week or month for some...why have bounderies?), the time when lovers love and secret admirers let their feelings be known! And single people? Well, I guess they all deal with this day differently! The most important thing, whether you believe in celebrating V-Day or not, is that you appreciate your special someone all year around! And for those of us bleeding hearts that bleed comics as well, we get our #relationshipgoals from our heroes and their perfect/not-so perfect relationships! So, I figured what better way to toot St. Valentine’s horn by firing up the ‘ol Listmaster 5000 machine and do one of my old fashioned lists! This time it’s comics’ Top 10 Power Couples! Some are superheroes with non-superheroes, and some of them are both supers...but all of these sweethearts showed us that their true powers are their love for each other (awwww)! Read more...
