WolfCop is a small, independent Canadian film that has become a BIG modern cult classic! From the brain of Saskatchewan’s Lowell Dean, this movie made waves back in 2014 for being one of the most original werewolf films in recent memory. In a world where monsters have become romanticized, WolfCop, a story of small town deputy Lou Garou getting cursed with becoming a werewolf and becoming the furriest hero around! Read more...

OK, those of you who have read some of my articles before might appreciate that I’m a tiny bit biased when it comes to dinosaurs. That’s probably a lie – I absolutely love dinosaurs. They’re more important to me than superheroes or science fiction. They captured my imagination as a child and I’ve digested every book, documentary and movie about them as is humanly possible. So you can expect that 1993’s Jurassic Park has a very special place in my heart. There was no way I was going to miss the fourth installment of the franchise, Jurassic World, but is it an extinction level event for the series or has life found a way back into the dream of a dinosaur theme park? To be hot or not to be hot isn't really the question you need to be asking. It either is hot or it's not hot and if you're not sure never fear that's why we're here, to find out what was hot this week and what was not hot. We can certainly agree that mother nature's distribution skills are not hot. She dumps all the rain in Texas and leaves California still pondering ways to treat their sewage water into drinking water. Yes ladies and gentlemen this is how we're starting off our weekend by talking about drinking poo water. What can be more bizarre than the thought of drinking sewage water? The thought that devils are the instrument of the devil. Just so you know, in the UK erasers are called rubbers. That's right, rubbers. Go ahead and keep laughing because if you put it all together what Guy Claxton is saying is this, rubbers are an instrument of the devil. Claxton is a cognitive scientist and he believes rubbers, or erasers, create a “a culture of shame about error. It's a way of lying to the world, which says 'I didn't make a mistake, I got it right the first time.'” WHA!? Read more...

Jurassic-World-logo-trailer-630x350In 1993, Steven Spielberg changed the way we saw dinosaurs on film forever. Gone was the lumbering stop-motion beasts created by Ray Harryhausen (which I still think look great, by the way) from movies such as One Million Years B.C. or Valley of the Gwangi or the reptiles covered in glue and adorned with spikes which were superimposed against the camera in The Lost World. Adapting Michael Crichton’s cautionary tale about genetically engineered dinosaurs reared upon a private preserve, Jurassic Park utilized the latest in CGI and paleontological research to accurately recreate iconic prehistoric animals based upon what was known at the time. The result was astounding, blowing audiences away and bringing to life monsters that have timelessly captured the imaginations of children and adults for centuries.   Read more...

hr_Jurassic_World_4It's here! Finally we get a look at the return to the world Steven Spielberg created in 1993. Jurassic World, produced by Spielberg and directed by Colin Trevorrow will no doubt revolutionize movies all over again. Starring Bryce Dallas Howard, Chris Pratt (Yes, we're getting Star Lord vs. dinosaurs! weee!), Jake Johnson and Vincent D'Onofrio, the film deals with geneticists developing a whole new breed of dinos to cause chaos! Why do that when the old ones were just as dangerous!? Who cares? It's science! And it's awesome! Here's the brand spanking new trailer!

Congratulations on surviving another week and making it here to sweet what was hot and what was not this week. Our buddy Shia Labeouf is back and he’s hotter than the truck driver who left a trailer full of rotting meat on the side of the road. Let’s jump right in and see what this week had to offer. That’s right, Shia Labeouf is back. He’s in a new movie, Fury, a WWII drama about a platoon who is out-numbered and out-gunned but that doesn’t stop them from going after the Nazis. As part of the promotion of the movie Labeouf will be appearing on the Ellen Degeneres show today. That’s right, set your DVR, or just wait for someone to post a Youtube video, so you can see him apologize for spitting on a cop. WHAT!? As for that Youtube video, here you go. We love you, Shia.

new jurassicWhen it comes to dinosaurs and the movies we are big fans here at ENR! Dan Robertson thought a National holiday should have been announced when Jurassic Park came out in 3D! So you can bet when we saw this pitch video to the studios we knew it had to go up here! There has been some rumor that this is a failed video game trailer, but we don't care! All we know is that this may be the coolest flying sequence ever! Don't believe us? Check out this trailer and tell us what you think! Read more...
