The Terminator franchise is highly beloved, yet deeply frustrating for most fans. For every great outing, the first two films and The Chronicles of Sarah Connor television show, we get a frustratingly disappointing outing, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines and Terminator: Salvation. After Salvation, the franchise was in a standstill with the rights up in the air and eventually being bought up or else they would revert back to series creator James Cameron. The end result was Terminator: Genisys, a fun, frustrating, and disappointing film that retreads old ground a bit while blazing a new path. Read more...

By Dave Michaels (FPB) As we all know (well, those of us that follow comics), the heroes of the Marvel Universe have found themselves in the Age of Ultron, a world where an evil A.I. has taken over the world and reshaped it in its own image. And as we embark on Marvel’s version of the robot apocalypse (which you can follow in my review column, Bloody Circuits...cheap plug!), I sit and think...could something like that actually happen?! How close are we to generally screwing up our cushy life using all these machines for tweets, status updates, texts, playing games and watching porn? I mean, we haven't been very kind to technology lately, have we? We trade in our devices and appliances literally every two years these days...not even always because they stop working properly...we usually trade them in just because the new version is out or they just become out of date. We THINK we aren't hurting anyone's feelings...but maybe we are! Read more...
