People have always been curious about what happens after death. Since ancient times there have been stories about what happens to you when you die. Pharaohs were buried with their treasures because people thought they would need them in the afterlife. In Greek mythology Charon ferries the souls of the recently deceased across the river Styx to the Underworld. There are many ideas about what happens to you when you pass away. Very few people have ever crossed over and came back to tell us what actually happens. It's a great mystery, one which gives infinite possibilities for story telling. Read more...

My littles have been asking me to review it for awhile and I could resist no more. “What to put it up against?” I ask myself. Looking at the writer for the MLP comic, Katie Cook, I was quickly reminded of all the great Adventure Time illustrations she’s produced and then picking the challenger was a snap. It is nice when a well thought out story has such a good conclusion. The team of Katie Cook, Andy Price, and Heather Breckel really deliver a comic that every demographic can enjoy. In this issue we are treated to some interesting visuals, as well as more depth to what Chrysalis really wants. Price certainly has some fun here with homages to Stephen King classics The Shining and It, without making it too horrific for the younger readers. Read more...

Green Conversation at LSCC A ROBotiX Interface There’s a place in the comic book market for a great many things – be they fantasy, science fiction, horror, superheroes, crime and drama. Many have tried at encompassing them all into one book. Many have also failed. Anthology comics are few and far between and the quality of such is continually varied.
