Leonard-Nimoy-Today, fans of science fiction, pop culture and theater in general have lost a dear friend. Leonard Nimoy, best known for his portrayal as Mr. Spock in the Star Trek TV series and films, has passed away at the age of 83. While we all fell in love with him as the half-human, half Vulcan second-in-command of the U.S.S. Acting since the age of 8, Nimoy had a huge body of acting work including classic horror films like Them!, Zombies in the Stratosphere and The Brain Eaters, and appearances on television shows like Dragnet, Bonanza, Gunsmoke, Twilight Zone, Perry Mason, Outer Limits, The Man From U.N.C.L.E., and more recently in shows like Fringe, Simpsons, Futurama and Big Bang Theory. And let's not forget his return as Spock in the J.J. Abrams reboot of the Star Trek film franchise! Read more...

All those pieces once weighed together can make or break a book for me.  If the parts all work together it’s magic, if they don’t it’s tragic (see what I did there, poetry  -  recognize).
