It shouldn’t have taken this long. Wonder Woman, the first full-fledged female superhero, created in 1942 by Charles Moulton Marston (also the creator of the polygraph test, in case you didn’t know) and H.G. Peter and maybe one of the most recognized comic book icons in history should have gotten a live action, full-length, wide released film adaptation DECADES ago. But perhaps the world was not ready. I don’t even know where to begin with this review.  This is not the Wonder Woman so many people have grown to know and love.  I mean, it is and it isn’t. sidekicksThere comes a time in everybody's  life where you gotta do what you gotta do. For me it is something that I have wanted to do for awhile now, and that's talk about just how dumb some sidekicks are. I know most of you have some affection for the sidekicks of days gone by, heck me too! The Teen Titans are a comic I love that is built on sidekicks. The fact remains though there have been, how shall we say lame ones, and that is what this column is all about. Light that candle! Read more...
