I covered DC Comic's LEGENDS #1 last week. This week, I will be covering issue #2 of the series !! Legends #2 starts off with Gwyneth Tate, a newswoman who is reporting on the incineration of Macro Man .by Captain Marvel. G. Gordon Godfrey "happens" to be on the scene for an interview. Godfrey bemoans the "Rise of the Super Hero" who he claims will bring about society's downfall. "Today's high powered world is too sophisticated, too complicated, simply too dangerous for such a outdated notion as the Heroic Ideal!" Read more...

I don’t really know where to begin with this review. Here we have a movie that actually wanted to do something unique and unorthodox and it actually achieves that. It wanted to take characters mostly known as villains and make them antagonists that you want to root for. We got that. It wanted to provide action, comedy and yes even a little dash of dramatic moments, it gives us all of that. It wanted to have a VERY respected director in David Ayer (let’s not get things twisted...this is the guy that made TRAINING DAY), give us his unwavering, skewed vision of the DC Universe underworld without any compromise...and he did.
