This week we knew we were going to see the wrath of Jervis Tetch. His beloved sister, Alice, was killed and that put him over the edge, which seems nearly impossible as he was pretty much over it to begin with. Seriously, who dresses up in top hats and has tea parties these days? The bromance between Nygma and Penguin are also coming to a boiling point. The tension between these two is ridiculous and getting awkward. What kind of trouble is Gotham in this week? Here’s a hint, it starts with the letter “M” and goes on from there. Read more...

Last week’s episode we saw the outcome of Tetch’s mind games and the fate of his sister. We also witnessed the bromance blossom between Penguin and Nygma.  Who would have ever thought these two would hit it off so well?  This week we were in for a romantic regalement Gotham style. Read more...

Here we are, season three episode four of Gotham.  It’s funny how a show that’s basically about Batman but has no Batman in it could have come this far. We truly have the villains to thank for that. Batman’s main villains are taking the spotlight while we wait for Bruce Wayne to become Gotham’s greatest detective. We met the latest villain, Jervis Tetch/Mad Hatter, in the last episode. Last week we were given the gift of two Master B’s. Are two Bruce Wayne’s better than one? Ivy Pepper is now all grown up and finding her inner Lorax. Dr. Lee made her way back to Gotham and Jim Gordon made out with the most annoying reporter who ever lived. What could possibly top all of that this week? Read more...

They say when you love someone that you don’t notice their flaws. That’s what is happening with Gotham. With all of the clichés and the cheesy effects we still love Gotham. Last week Gotham felt like granny re-telling the same story and expecting a new reaction. Oh wait, Gotham was a re-run last week that explains it. Perhaps Fox was giving us a break because they knew this week’s episode was going to be entertainment overload. Read more...

When Gotham’s first episode aired back on September 22, 2014 people didn’t know what to expect. Was it going to be like Smallville, Arrow or any of the other WB shows? It turned out FOX went in a very different direction from the other superhero shows. After all, Gotham doesn’t even have a superhero yet. Telling the story of a young Bruce Wayne and focusing more on Jim Gordon proved to be a good angle. It’s interesting to have all of the backstories brought to life on a TV screen. Probably the best thing about the show is that it’s actually about Gotham, the city. It’s not about Batman, not about the Joker or Jim Gordon, it’s about the city and how the city moulds the people within. Read more...

Another explosive episode that brought about many turning points for a lot of characters. Some secrets were uncovered and some new secrets that proved to be deadly. Is it smart to have secrets in Gotham?  One bad place to have secrets is in the GCPD.  It used to be a place where you could get away with anything and the cops kept each other’s secrets.  Now that Captain Barnes is in charge and the new recruits are around no secret is safe.  So far secrets have only gotten people killed in Gotham. Barbara Keane’s parents, Alfred’s friend Reggie and several other lesser known villains. Let’s see what kind of damage the secrets of Gotham did in episode six “By Fire”. Read more...
