The 4th season of agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has indeed been all over the place, but it’s been (arguably) the best one the show has ever done, and without any blatant connections to a Marvel Studios film. Sure there was Daisy Johnson’s Sokovia Accords hearing and Jeff Mace/The Patriot’s fame he got from being an “accidental hero” during U.N. attack (both being events from Captain America: Civil War) and the introduction of the mysterious Darkhold, a mystical book that delves into the same territory as Doctor Strange, but for the most part this season of AoS basically ran on its own steam. And, thanks to the assist by Robbie Reyes/Ghost Rider and the amazing job by the show’s special effects team, the series has been all the better for it. Read more...

When I was a young adult I craved finding classic comic book stories. Mostly for the artwork, I scoured many a dollar bin in my day looking for any comics I could find illustrated by the legends: Jack Kirby, Neal Adams, John Romita Sr., Gil Kane, John Buscema, John Byrne and of course, Steve Ditko. Eventually I came across the reprints of the first few Spider-Man stories which featured Spidey taking on for the first time, famous rogues such as Chameleon, Lizard, Vulture, Electro and so on. Great stuff that I think everyone should have in their collections, but doubled up in the back of my reprint of the first ever Spidey story from Amazing Fantasy #15 telling the wall-crawler’s origin was the OTHER most popular character that Stan Lee and Steve Ditko created together, Doctor Strange. Previously on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. – Jemma Simmons was lost...IN SPACE!!! But no robots or Matt Leblanc were in sight. Transported to parts unknown by the mysterious alien monolith obtained by S.H.I.E.L.D., all she saw was blue sand and multiple moons in the sky. Was she a goner? No! Months later, Fitz and the crew discovered a way to open the portal again and got her back...but Jemma  wasn’t the same! The alien atmosphere had affected her senses and when Bobbi Morse found her with pieces of the crumbled monolith Simmons revealed that she needed to GO BACK? WHY? This week’s episode was dedicated to answering (almost) all of the questions we and showing us more about this mysterious world Agent Simmons was stranded on? Read more...

Yep, Phase 3 has now been announced, and get ready, your pantses are about to be blown away at what they have planned!!! Let's not waste ANY time. During a surprise live press event. Marvel Studios head, Kevin Feige along with Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans have announced the next run of Marvel Cinematic Universe tied films starting with Captain America's third film, which after joking that it would be called "Serpent Society", he admitted it will be, like everyone predicted, an adaptation of Civil War!
