It was only a matter of time before I got to this one, right? One of the coolest aspects of comicdom has always been the fact that many of our heroes need spiffy, space-age vehicles to get around in, right? I mean, how else is the Fantastic Four going to get to Latvaria to battle Dr. Doom or the X-Men going to get to wherever the Brotherhood is causing trouble? They need transportation! Over the years there’s been a great amount of vehicles that have come along...and then...not so much. This here’s a list of the coolest of the cool, so don’t expect the Spider-Buggy or the Jokermobile or anything weird like that. Also, the Guardians’ Milano was JUST introduced in the comics, so that didn’t make the cut either! And as always, your favorite may not make the list! My apologies, but you know how hard it is to please EVERYONE! Feel free to air your opinion in the comments section! Read more...

The 4th season of agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has indeed been all over the place, but it’s been (arguably) the best one the show has ever done, and without any blatant connections to a Marvel Studios film. Sure there was Daisy Johnson’s Sokovia Accords hearing and Jeff Mace/The Patriot’s fame he got from being an “accidental hero” during U.N. attack (both being events from Captain America: Civil War) and the introduction of the mysterious Darkhold, a mystical book that delves into the same territory as Doctor Strange, but for the most part this season of AoS basically ran on its own steam. And, thanks to the assist by Robbie Reyes/Ghost Rider and the amazing job by the show’s special effects team, the series has been all the better for it. Read more...

Yeah, I’m pretty proud of that title. Don’t worry, Fitz didn’t hit any fans in this week’s episode. But plenty of other stuff that rhymes with Fitz did! The Agents thought it was smooth sailing when they escaped the Framework, but silly them! Things are never smooth with them. As soon as one problem is solved, an even bigger one arises. This week was prime example of that. Read more...

Last week, still jacked into the Framework, Coulson and the crew “raged against the machine”...literally, and hijacked Sunil Bakshi’s (yeah, THAT jerk came back) pro-Hydra talk show...and basically told the world that Hydra is “fake news”. That was merely step one in trouncing Aida’s fabricated world. Next would be escaping the Framework altogether, and finally waking up. Read more...

While last week’s episode wasn’t the fastest paced episode all season, it did provide us with a shocking ending! Coulson and Jeff Mace a.k.a. The Patriot infiltrated Hydra HQ to find Daisy Johnson (who had been captured), while there they rescued Trip (HE’S BACK!), who had been embedded in Hydra as a double agent only to be discovered and captured. They also discovered that children (some of Coulson’s students even) were being brainwashed!! While saving the kids, Aida and Evil Fitz ordered a Quinjet to take down the entire building where the kids were being conditioned. After discovering the horrible things Hydra was doing to innocent children, May, who had been a pretty nasty and loyal Hydra agent, switched sides and decided to help. BUT in order for everyone to escape, Mace had to sacrifice his life. At the end of the episode, May goes to Daisy’s cell and breaks open a Terrigen crystal, cocooning Daisy and giving her back her Quake abilities. Read more...

Things are not hunky dory in Hydra-ville, guys. The Agents (Daisy, Jemma, Phil, Leo, Mack, May and Mace) are all still jacked into the Framework. Madame Hydra/Aida/Ophelia is in charge and rules with an iron fist (sorry to bring “him” up, I know he’s not exactly popular right now). She has May and especially Fitz in her thrall and after the previous episode, it really seemed like they were turned evil for good! Especially after Fitz murdered the woman Aida was modelled after, Agnes (or rather, her consciousness, since her physical body was already dead) in cold blood! This was a huge, disheartening moment especially for Jemma who witnessed the whole thing and was sure she could “snap” him out of it like Daisy did Coulson. Is Fitz a nasty Hydra scientist and Madame Hydra’s boy-toy for good?! Read more...

Well, the Framework has proven to be quite a problem. You didn’t think Daisy Johnson and Jemma Simmons would jump in there and fix everything in one episode, didja? Nah, this very realistic digital world is a lot more screwed up than they (or we, the audience) ever imagined. Hydra somehow turned the entire United States into a police state, Coulson’s a nerdy teacher, Fitz and May are very nasty Hydra agents, Grant Ward is alive...NOT Hive and....a good guy working for The Resistance?! Well, it’s been a long hiatus for our cult favorite Marvel TV show, but finally after the bombshell reveal of what exactly is going on inside the Darkhold/Aida version of the Framework...our story continues! Read more...
