c52656e1140359b62b27ef274bb13f49How does one cope with being the police captain in a city overrun by Metahuman super criminals and speedster vigilantes? Well, Patrick Sabongui seems to take it all in stride. Patrick is a Montreal born actor/director/stuntman that has worked on a lot of movies over the years. You will recognize him from quite a few movies and TV shows including Tron: Legacy, 300, Cabin In The Woods, Sucker Punch, Fringe, Watchmen, Stargate: Atlantis and MANY more! But his recurring role as Captain David Singh on CW’s hit show, The Flash is possibly his biggest to date, and while Singh seems to be a stern, no-nonsense type, I had the opportunity to chat with Patrick last week and he couldn’t be more opposite of that! Patrick was nice enough to take time out of his busy schedule to talk about his beginnings as an actor, breaking barriers with his role as Capt. Singh and working with not only the Scarlet Speedster himself but the King of the Monsters as well! Read more...

celticI support the Scottish football team Celtic, who recently qualified for  the Group Stage of the Champion's League. Celtic was the first British  team to win the European Cup and over the years has had enormous success  in European football. They have reached countless finals and semi-finals, yet despite their glory, Scottish football has been in decline. Last year, each team in the English Premier League earned a massive £60 million ($93 million), with additional funds being obtained based on  their final position in the league, performance in domestic cups and  their performance in European football. In contrast, winners of the Scottish Premier Football League win a mere  £2 million ($3.1 million). Scottish teams are starved of funds and are  unable to afford the wage demands of players of notable quality.  Scottish teams continue to sell their top players so that the income  generated can help them to stay alive. Sadly, many Scottish teams are on  the verge of bankruptcy and urgent and dramatic action needs to be taken to ensure the survival of the remaining Scottish teams.   Read more...

The-Flying-ManLook, up in the air, it’s a bird, it’s a plane, no it’s a flying man who brings along with him an everlasting amount of possibilities and questions. This short film created by Marcus Alqueres is nothing less of amazing. Alqueres is mostly known for his work on movies like, “300”, “The Adventures of Tintin” and “Rise of the Planet of the Apes”.  He has also made other short films that are definitely worth watching. “The Flying Man” is just around ten minutes long and it’s just long enough to make you scream, I WANT MORE!  Read more...

DAMM | What ARE the Top 10 Best Comic Book Movies? If you want to start a fanboy/girl fight just bring it up. So, of course I am going to bring it up. It's so Curmudgeony it sends me into fits of mirth. The answer to this question is impossible to determine to any scientific degree as art and taste are subjective on so many levels. Fanboys/girls have debated it since Tomb of Dracula or even A Man Named Flinstone. Read more...
